A strength of the Quickway Proposal is that, while it has the fixed stations and rights of way of rail systems, the route structure is a lot more flexible and can shift over the years with demand.

Quickways, because they don't involve offline stations, are inherently faster and more reliable than freeway managed lanes, attracting more riders and lowering operating costs.

Quickway stations are designed to offer passengers better protection from the elements and from moving vehicles. Fares are paid before boarding, like most metro systems, so boarding is quick and easy.
